Another mail in review this time from Philadelphia. I've listened to this tape a couple times now and am really starting to get a feel for it. Three 2+ minute tracks of raw garage-y hardcore punk. I love the blown out vocal style. The first track is bass-driven jammer reminiscent of black flag energy with a catchy hook. Of the three tracks on the tape this opener is my favorite. The lyrics mostly pertain to hating the neighborhood they live in, taking jabs at their suburban surroundings, the lifestyles of the people around them and the depraved state of mind it leaves themselves in. The second track is nebulous as to what it's about but almost seems to imply murder or suicide or something... and hanging cops. Grisly shit. Enjoy and thanks for the tape!
