Another great Austin band, Glue. We were supposed to play with them the second night but it didn't happen. I still managed to get a cassette from Cody which I was stoked on. I had a totally different idea of what it would be because of the name but it's still good as hell... though not what I expected. Really catchy riffs on this cassette, they should've made "Intro" into a song, that's a fucking jammin' track. Slap some tortured vocals on there low in the mix and you got yourself a demo cassette. Wish it had lyrics, from what I can make out "No Excuse" seems to be about gender politics in hardcore. "Jokes Write Themselves" has some laughing on the track, always great to hear in a hardcore band, always sounds sick. I'm a sucker for the tempo on that track too. Great tape, hope to see them play soon.
