ODD MAN OUT - Demo CS

Ok so here's a doozy for y'all. I've been trying to get this band off the ground since 2008 and it has finally happened. Six songs of blisteringly straight edge hardcore out of, strangely enough for 2015, Olympia, WA. 4/5ths of the band lives in Seattle so it's interesting to call it an Olympia band but the idea and original demo were conceived in the Reed Family basement by myself and two fellow Olympians right about the time Sixes was starting. The first three songs on that demo were kept and re-recorded and I wrote three new songs to add to this release in 2014. Cassettes are now here and 7" is coming in August on Warthogspeak. Stay tuned, you can pick up a cassette Here

    1. No it's a new one not the Steve Cab one from the late 80s/90s

  2. I like the demo musically, but like with the majority of straight edge bands (my opinion) the lyrics always seem to someway find a way to center around other peoples choices rather than just being content / satisfied with one's own. More shit / issues going on in the world than just booze, tobacco & drugs

    1. I feel you, these were songs written in 2008 and it's very much a concept project, no depth really besides venting frustration. You can look at other projects I've sang for se SIXES which was politically charged or SCARY MAN which had more to do with how people interact socially and problems with hardcore if that is more up your alley. Plans with future releases are to branch out more lyrically but honestly, it's a purely straight edge concept project so that's gonna be what the songs are "about" hahah.
