If you haven't yet, check out my other blog with my favorite non-contemporary hardcore releases. I put up some of my favorite hardcore records here and there, when and what I post is entirely arbitrary. Rainy Days

Get Destroyed - S/T 7"
A really great first release based out of Arizona. I haven't heard anything about this band since around 2007 but I heard a rumor that they still occasionally play shows in their hometown? If anyone knows of any other material besides the comp track let me know. Good powerviolence worship.

Waste Management - Waste Taste 2010
Waste Man does it again with this fucking great release. This tape is an early release of a 7" coming out and contains a live set on the B side. I was so pumped to hear more from this band and was not disappointed. Great music.

Slices - S/T 7"
While on tour Jeff 16oh hooked me up with some records. I think it was at a show in Sacramento, we played with Sabertooth Zombie and Ruckus while on tour with Sojourner. Jeff approached me and told me that I would like this record. He was correct, it is awesome. I can't really explain it you'd just have to listen to it. It would be safe to say hipster hardcore types and fans of Poison Idea will enjoy it. First track on the A and B sides are awesome. I'm also a sucker for Turtles. I've heard some of the releases after this and don't like them as much.

Limp Wrist - S/T 7"
The first time I saw Limp Wrist was 2004 or 2005 I believe. They played the Midnight Sun in Oly with The Crazies
and Bring Tha Noize, needless to say it was a crazy show. They were out of control and their music followed suit. Great stuff.

Right On! - Reality Vacation
I guess I didn't really have to put the ep up. Here is a discography that I picked up a year or two later.

Right On! - No Joke EP
Right On toured through Olympia a few times and really caught me. They were fun but also sincere. Featuring Mr. Eightclip of Allegiance fame, who also came through Olympia often. I think the first time I saw Right On they were on tour with Allegiance. Anyhow, the release is a good piece of modern hardcore, give it a listen.
