At the show there will be tons of free literature on issues of race, immigration, the economic crisis, and other social justice issues.

The show was a success! Super fun, tons of people came to support and best of all no fights! The show was organized to combat some issues of recent racial ignorance taking place in the Aberdeen/Hoquiam area. We all got organized, made a zine with info, recruited some OURSOUND troops and partied over!

The car Matt was driving up in broke down right before Outlook's set so I filled in on drums. Fortunately I remembered the songs, it had been a while.

Bring Tha Noize! - Demo 2005

Do you hate high school? How about the internet's involvement with hardcore? Do you enjoy goofy mosh calls and Lockin' Out records? If you do I'd encourage you to take the wild, goofy ride that is the Bring tha Noize demo. Sharing members with the Crazies you know you're in for entertainment. They played some awesome shows like the Midnight Sun with Snake Run, The Crazies, and Limp Wrist but only lasted a short while... story is some members took it more seriously than others. Seriously awesome and funny. Preeetty bad though, haha.

Eunuch - S/T 7"

Just got a package in the mail today from Nay over in Boston. Enclosed was a shitload of various Teas and her band's record Eunuch. As I mentioned before in the Scapegoat post we stayed at her and Mark's place in Boston on Sixes tour. I have never stayed with anyone more hospitable. We were pampered and loved not to mention a trampoline room kept us occupied late into the night. We had the pleasure of playing with Eunuch on our day in Boston and I was blown away. I fucking loved it. Packed onto this record are six tracks driven by bass, drums, vocals and feedback. I've only spun it once but I like what I hear! I'm going to put it on again right now.

In Stride - Place of Decay

Holy shit, this record is great! Probably up there in my favorite releases in the past few years... no doubt actually. As I said before I feel like each subsequent In Stride release surpasses the previous. This record was the nail in the coffin for In Stride but a reunion is planned for September 11th just a few days from now. I will be there for sure. Record is perfect in my eyes, great music and great lyrics. I've spent many a night skating as hard as I can listening to these tracks, Give it a listen!

Gone But Not Forgotten - Seattle Crew

I feel like there is so much potential for me to like this because I'm usually a sucker for this kind of stuff. The nike dunks and the Seattle crew paraphernalia are a little over the top but that's part of the goofy aesthetic. Good release from our Northern neighbors, looking forward to hearing more? Not sure if more is in the works.

Wrecked'Em Olympia Skate Video

So it's been a while since I've updated this thing and holy shit do I have a lot to put up. I really don't want to spend time on the computer at all so we'll see how much I can do. I figured it would be appropriate to start with this bad lad.

We had a show to premier the new Olympia Skate Video and it went awesome. Screened the video, skated outside, and played some music. Watch all your favorite locals skate from such bands as the infamous Trainyard, Red & Black, Scary Man, Dehumanized, Sixes, Outlook, In Debt, Mondo Aggro, etc. etc. etc. Nudity, feces, skateboarding, soda, skits, we've got it all.
